Frequently Asked Questions

There is a three-car parking pad behind the house. The driveway is shared access to parking, so please only park in the gravel to the left where the resin shed is. The driveway that leads to the parking pad is 7.5 feet wide, which is not designed for larger vehicles such as pick-up trucks. If you have a larger vehicle, you must park at the garage at the top of the street located off Racehorse Ally (4-minute walk from the house). Daily parking at the garage is $12.35. 

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at this vacation rental. 

This is a smoke-free vacation rental. Therefore, smoking, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, hookah, vaping, etc., is not permitted in the house or front and back porch. You may smoke out back in the grassy area but must provide your own cigarette butt waste receptacle. Please do not throw your cigarette butts in the indoor trash can yard or firepit. 

You are more than welcome to enjoy the Hot Spa. After each use, please add 2-3 bromine tabs in the float (ONLY if it's empty), one cap full of Clarifier, and Foam Out. 

All your trash should be put in trash bags tied up and placed in the trash receptacles to the left of the shed in front of the parking pad out back.  

You are not permitted to dismantle, turn off, block, unplug, or interfere with any exterior cameras, NO EXCEPTIONS. You are welcome and encouraged to unplug the interior cameras, but you must plug them all back in at check-out. There is a camera in the kitchen, living room, parlor, each bedroom, laundry room, and 3rd-floor bedroom/loft.  

Adjust the thermostats accordingly at check-out (please contact us if you need clarification, as this is a significant step at check-out process).

• Spring & Summer (March to October) DO NOT USE THE THERMOSTAT ON THE 1ST FLOOR AS IT ONLY OPERATES THE HEAT. Instead, use the mini split unit in the kitchen for the 1st floor. When you leave, set this to A/C at 76 on low speed. The 2nd-floor hallway should be set to A/C at 76 on low speed. The 3rd-floor mini split should be set to A/C at 76 on low speed.
• Fall & Winter (November to February) DO NOT USE THE THERMOSTAT ON THE 2ND FLOOR OR THE MINI SPLIT IN THE KITCHEN (THESE UNITS SHOULD BE OFF AND STAY OFF). Instead, use the thermostat on the 1st floor as this thermostat operates the heat on the 1st and 2nd floor. Next, use the mini split on the 3rd floor. When you leave, the 3rd floor should be set to heat at 59 on low speed, and the 1st floor set to heat at 59.
